Kedgeree – A breakfast from the days of the Raj: Locally smoked haddock with lightly
curried rice and boiled eggs. Pippa’s own special (now famous) recipe.
Eggs Benedict – A poached egg on West Country Pancetta bacon, served on an English Muffin and topped with Hollandaise Sauce.
Eggs Mimosa – creamy scrambled eggs on crispy fried bread with Saviar (Salmon Caviar ), served with crispy West Country Pancetta.
Huevos Rancheros – a Mexican breakfast; fried eggs served on Tortilla flat bread, and
a spicy tomato sauce over the top, Cornish Davidstow cheese and spring onion tops
sprinkled over the top. Served with bacon or sausages.
American Breakfast Casserole – a Ham Strata – Cubes of egg and cream soaked bread with layers of ham and herbs baked in a casserole.
Fresh out of the sea; Padstow Mackerel fillets, lightly dusted in seasoned flour, fried
and served with baked seasoned tomatoes and Beurre Corbert (butter, shallots, tarragon
and lemon).
Full Veggie: Vegetarians can enjoy separately fried eggs and fried bread (using designated vegetarian utensils) home-made veggie carrot sausages, Sweet potato pancake or Corn
cake, Cornish field mushrooms baked with a little butter and baked seasoned tomato (home grown in summer and autumn months) we also carry Heinz Baked Beans – eggs; poached, scrambled or crushed (soft boiled egg, shelled and you simply crush it over your pancakes).
Traitors Eggs - Scrambles Egg and Smoked Salmon with Clotted Cream and Capers served
on home made blinis or an English Muffin.
Coldstream Eggs – Baked eggs in Cornish cream, flaked locally smoked kippers and seasoning. Good with soldier!
Eggy Bread (sometimes known as French Toast) – Half slice white Tiger White and half
slice Campe-grain bread, soaked in egg, milk and cream, fried and served with Cornish
Hogs Pudden and bacon.
Omelette Arnold Bennett – Fluffy Omelette with, Smoked haddock with a sprinkle
of Cornish Davidstow Cheddar Cheese.
Mumbles Eggs – Creamy scrambled eggs on homemade muffin, spread with Gentleman’s Relish and served with local smoked back bacon.
